EruditeWBT Course Visuals and HCI Path
Design pathway

Visual and HCI work belongs inside the community, not outside it.

The VISUALSANDHCI direction is where graphics, design, UI, UX, GUI, accessibility, design systems, and simple UI coding come together. It gives non-backend contributors a serious place to build, and it gives engineers stronger product collaboration.

What this path covers

Core areas

Graphics

Layout, typography, composition, color, iconography, and visual storytelling.

UI / GUI

Buttons, forms, dashboards, app screens, navigation, and interface structure.

UX / HCI

User flow, task clarity, accessibility, feedback loops, and human-centered interaction.

Simple UI coding

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flutter UI foundations for real interface building.

Design systems

Reusable patterns, spacing, components, states, and consistency across products.

Product collaboration

Working with engineers, founders, and domain experts to turn rough ideas into usable products.

Beginner-first actions

How to start today

1. Learn HTML and CSS so you can shape visible interfaces.
2. Study good screens and explain why they are clear or confusing.
3. Recreate a simple landing page with strong spacing and hierarchy.
4. Join community projects where interface quality is needed immediately.
Repo direction

Where this grows next

This path will live more deeply in the VISUALSANDHCI repo. That repo should become the home for design exercises, interface critique, prototype rebuilds, accessibility notes, component thinking, and collaboration with live community products.
